Responsibilities

  • Review/Prepare: Scope of Work, Method Statements, Procedures, Job Cards, Vendor and
    Construction Deliverable Documents, Red-Line Markups, MTO, BOQ, Permits to Work, JSA,
    RA, Planning, and Preparation.
  •  Maintenance of quality system work process and standards, test-protocols, procedures and
    maintenance plans as documents and data;
  • Maintain the equipment master data for mechanical equipment
  • Responsible for identification of best practices and development of business processes and
    tools;
  • Assess design & fit for purpose calculations and condition monitoring results/evaluations;
  • Write technical advice based on condition monitoring results, root cause analysis of incidents
    or recurring problems;
  •  Define technical scope and give advice about new maintenance contracts;
  •  Develop specifications for new equipment in the project design phase;
  •  Provide input to reliability programs for static equipment;
  •  Ensure compliance with company standards and national and European legislation.
  • Also lead commissioning, startups, troubleshooting (FAT / SAT experience).
  • Communication with electrical suppliers
  • Good verbal and written communication in English. Dutch is a plus

Essential Skills:

  • Mechanical Engineering experience (3-5+ years, high school qualification or above).
  •  Static equipment specialism or knowledge (specifically heat exchangers, pressure vessels,
    distillation towers).
  •  Chemical / Petrochemical sector experience (working on a live plant).
  • Ability to provide technical advice on equipment / vendor selection.
  • The ability to read P&ID and Isometric drawings.
  • Knowledge of ASME / PED / API / NEN standards.
  • Knowledge of mechanical equipment (Piping, Pumps, Pressure Vessels, Heat exchangers,
    Distillation towers, etc)
  •  Knowledge in the installation of mechanical equipment within the Chemical / Petrochemical
    sector.
  •  Engineering, modelling and analysis experience (FEA, FMEA etc..)
  • Knowledge of engineering software for engineering, design or analysis (2D Design, 3D
    modelling or Analysis)
